Frank Loven is known for Landscape painting, illustration, lithography. He was born in Jersey City, New Jersey in 1868 and received formal training under Birge Harrison, Frank V. Dumond and John F. Carlson, most likely at the Art Students League in New York. He was elected a member of Salmagundi in 1916, the year prior to our Clubs move to its present quarters at 47 Fifth Avenue and was a regular exhibitor from 1917 to 1931. He specialized in landscape. One of a kind artwork.
