An antique Russian Orthodox hand painted triptych featuring a three paneled easel structure, typically used as a religious devotional item. In the center panel of the triptych, the image portrays the image of Edessa, a holy relic consisting of a square or rectangle of cloth upon which a miraculous image of the face of Jesus is imprinted.
