Louis Armand Bardery, French, 1879 to 1952, bronze sculpture. The sculpture depicts a gallant couple of lovers, engraved with detailed patterns. Mounted on a rectangular shaped base. Signed with casting, A. Bardery, on the base. Numbered, 9786, on the bottom. Louis Armand Bardery was a French sculptor. He was born in 1879 in Neuilly sur Marne. After training with Injalbert and Charles Vital Cornu, Bardery obtained an honorable mention for a plaster statue entitled Premiere disillusion and presented in 1905 at the Paris Salon. Bardery was an assiduous member of the Salon Des Artistes Francais. During his career, he produced figures and busts, such as: La Famille, la Guerre, Reverie, Lincoln, Corot, Villon, etc. Antique and Vintage European Bronze Sculptures, Statues, Figures, Figurines, Home Decor, Interior Design, and Collectibles.
