Lot 0475: A POLISH ETCHED HONOR AND HOMELAND CAVALERY SWORD

A Polish Cavalry officer sword or saber. The blade is slightly curved, decorated with etched foliage and floral ornaments, an image of an eagle in a crown, and the inscription in Polish "Honor I Ojczyzna" (Honor and Homeland). The hilt features a wire-wrapped leather handle, and a brass D-guard and pommel. Circa: 1920. Antique and Vintage European Cold Steel Weapons For Collectors.
