Lot 0236: ANTIQUE BRITISH STERLING SILVER SPOONS AND FORKS

A lot of antique mid-19th century British sterling silver cutlery by William Eley and William Fearn, London-based silversmiths that collaborated from 1797 until 1841. A total of five items including three forks and two spoons. The handles have a seashell design, the spoons are also decorated with engraved initials on the handle tips. Marks on the backside of each item: WE over WF hallmark, British lion, crowned leopards head mark for London, letter E for the year 1840, sovereigns head facing right. Total Weight: 500 grams.
