Paul Joanovitch (Yugoslavian, American, 1859-1957) oil painting on canvas, Portrait of Felix Kuranda, 1916. Signed and dated lower left. Framed. Provenance: The present lot on auction form part of the Kuranda's family estate. The provenance of items can be tracked back to Felix Kuranda in XIX Century Austrian Empire, member of a well known family of bankers and politicians; directly related to the Karpeles, Wittelshofer, Milne And Lederer families. The most chronological recent lots are former belongings from USA veteran Major Thom Stellinger-Scott related through marriage with the Kuranda lineage. He was a veteran of Korean War as well as a reputed amateur photographer and artist. The Stellinger-Scott family resided for decades at Montauk Long Island NY.

Overall condition good. Shows signs of age and wear. Superficial scuffs and scratches, dirt. Refer to photos. Sold As Is
