Lea Halpern (Dutch, American, 1901-1985) artistic handcrafted sphere ceramic object with three small round holes and a large open hole at the bottom, reminds salt or pepper shaker. The surface is covered with volcanic glaze in red and black shades. Lea Halpern was known as the van Gogh of potters, she experimented with glazes, special effects, and innovative pigments.
