Lea Halpern (Dutch, American, 1901-1985) artistic ceramic bowl covered with glaze in black and dark marsh green shades. Signed by the artist, and numbered, 829, on the bottom. Circa 1920s - 1940s. Lea Halpern was known as the van Gogh of potters, she experimented with glazes, special effects, and innovative pigments. The auction paper label on the bottom.
