A WWII type Nazi German General Assault Badge or Allgemeines Sturmabzeichen. The badge was a German military award introduced in 1940 during World War II. It was awarded to soldiers who participated in combat assaults but were not eligible for other specialized badges, such as the Infantry or Panzer Assault Badges. The design featured an eagle holding a swastika above a crossed bayonet and grenade, surrounded by an oak leaf wreath. It was typically awarded to engineers, artillery, and other support units who took part in at least three combat engagements. The badge is marked on the back side with RZM in circle and has a pin. The RZM mark was used as a brand to certify products in the Third Reich, along with an eagle and a swastika. It is presented in a red box, with an embellished figurine representing the Imperial Eagle of Nazi Germany on top of the lid.
