The exterior of the egg is enameled with polychrome floral, foliage, and scrollwork patterns made in the Cloisonne technique. The base is made in the same design. The ware is encrusted with a green gemstone, on the top. Marked with a Russian Silver standard hallmark, a makers mark, and other marks.
