Oil on canvas painting attributed to Mahadev Vishwanath Dhurandhar, 1867 to 1944, an Indian painter and postcard artist of the British colonial era. The piece illustrates a scene from Ramayana, Rama winning a bow-stringing contest In the kingdom of Mithila. Signed in the lower left. Untitled, undated. The Ramayana is a Sanskrit epic from ancient India, one of the two important epics of Hinduism. Collectible Mid Century Fine Art, Southeast Asian Artists.

Overall good vintage condition. Signs of wear and age. Has some stains, tears and missing paint.. Refer to photos. Sold as is.
