Tolmachev, upper left. Edited by I. Astapov. Published by Combat Pencil, Boevoi Karandash, Artist of RSFSR, numbered 3587, M 16878 23.05.80, one of 3056, Leningrad, 1980. Marked and copyright in the print, lower right. Boevoi Karandash is a creative association of Leningrad artists who produced propaganda posters and collections of satirical drawings in the middle of the 20th century. This phenomenon of mass art is often referred to as such. Vladimir Mikhailovich Menshikov was a famous Leningrad graphic artist, woodcut artist. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.
