Oil on canvas painting. European, early to mid-19th century. Attributed to Johann Georg von Dillis, 1759 to 1841, a German landscape painter who inspected the Bavarian princely collections. The artwork is a river landscape with staffage, town buildings and a mountain are depiced in the background. The view is presuambly Italian, as von Dillis traveled to Rome and Sicily several times.
