An antique German Berlin KPM porcelain rectangular plaque, painted with a rendition of Mary Magdalene after Correggio by Ludwig Sturm of Dresden. The painting captures the ethereal beauty and classical grace characteristic of Correggios style, rendered in fine detail on porcelain. Antonio Allegri da Correggio, 1489 to 1534, was an Italian Renaissance painter who was the foremost painter of the Parma school of the High Renaissance. The plaque is framed in a delicate border.
