An antique late 19th century humidor by Tiffany and Co. Ca. 1870s to 1890s. Polished burl wood box with hinged lid and key lock. Gilt brass fittings. Five lidded compartments of various size inside. Engraved label Tiffany and Co., Union Square on the inner rim. A humidor is a humidity-controlled box used primarily for storing cigars, cigarettes, or pipe tobacco.
