A vintage, 1930, Wendingen magazine with a cover made by Dutch painter Peter Alma. Wendingen was an architecture and art magazine published from 1918 to 1932. It was a monthly publication aimed at architects and interior designers. The magazine was published by Amsterdam based Hooge Brug and C.A. Peter Alma 1886 to 1969, a Dutch painter and graphic artist who connected his work with the labor movement. Peter Alma became primarily known for his impressive murals in the Amsterdam Amstel railway station in 1939. He was also one of the pioneers of De Stijl, the abstract art movement headed by Mondrian.
