A vintage Russian traditional lacquered wooden trinket box of oval shape. Black ground color, red interior. The piece is handcrafted in Palekh and depicts the character of the Russian fairy tale Alyonushka with a baby goat against the backdrop of a forest pond. Hand signed in Russian Palekh, Alyonushka, O.
