Maurice Utrillo, born Maurice Valadon was a French painter of the School of Paris who specialized in cityscapes. He is a well known French artist, who painted mainly views of the Parisian outskirts and suburbs marked by lyricism, by tradition, it is referred to as Naive art. Born in the Montmartre quarter of Paris, France, Utrillo is one of the few famous painters of Montmartre who were born there.
