Moise Kisling, French, Polish, 1891 to 1953, black and white lithograph on paper, Demi Nu, depicting a portrait of Kiki de Montparnasse, or Nu Assis, a French cabaret performer, painter, and artists muse. Signed in the plate, lower right. Titled in pencil, lower left. Inscribed in pencil, lower right. Framed. Moise Kisling is known for Child figure, nudes and portrait painting. He was well known for his association with the famous artists of the School of Paris in the early 20th Century. Moise Kisling moved to Paris in 1910 at the age of 19, and became a French citizen in 1915, after serving and being wounded with the French Foreign Legion in World War I.
