An antique late 19th-century English tobacco jar. Cylinder porcelain body with hand-painted floral decor in cobalt blue, red, and gold. Crowned mark Davenport, Longport, Staffordshire is on the bottom. Silver-plated footed stand with garland decor and lid with deer finial. Trumpet hallmark, JD and S for James Dixon and Sons, EP for electroplate, serial number R27410 are on the bottom.
