A mid to late 19th-century Polish cavalry officers sword or sabre. Curved steel blade with etched floral decor and motto Bog Zbuw Polske, God Bless Poland. Leather grip with twisted wire design, gilt brass crossguard and knucklebow with etched decor. Marked 1863r, coat of arms emblem by the grip. Matching scabbard with single suspension ring.
