An antique late 19th-century Russian Orthodox icon depicting Jesus Christ in the Pantocrator iconography, known in the Western Christianity as Christ in Majesty. Mixed media painting: egg tempera, gesso, and levkas on a wood board. The icon is enclosed in a gilt silver riza or oklad, a protecting case with repousse work, as well as a wooden kiot framing case. Titled in Church Slavonic in the bottom middle. Hallmark of 84 silver standard and makers mark are on the halo and on the clothes of Christ. There is a suspension ring on the backside.
