Pierced knife blade and fork base with elaborate engraved decor which includes a floral patterns and medallions. Each piece has an engraved griffin coat of arms with the motto Grip Fast. It is a crest badge of Clan Leslie, a Lowland Scottish noble clan. Sovereign head, Sheffield assay mark, lion passant guardant, letter M for the year 1855, makers mark HH are on the handles and blades of both items. Total Weight: 272 grams.
