An antique 19th-century Central Asian low-grade silver amulet pendant. Presumably a Boytumar from Western Kasakhstan. Boytumar is a cylindrical amulet inside of which a piece of paper with Quranic text were placed. This lot is a lidded cylinder with polished surface, swirl pattern bands, and multiple fitting loops on the sides. The lid and bottom of the pendant are garnished with cut semiprecious stones.
