In the center of the vase, the main design on two opposite sides has Asian motifs. On one side is a curved flowering fantasy tree resembling sakura on a black background. On the other side of the tree there are more fancy lush flowers, reminiscent of peonies. At the base, at the bottom of the vase there is a makers mark of Carlton Ware.
