A set of three German awards from World War I and World War II. First is the Iron Cross 2nd Class 1914 for direct participants in combat operations. It was established on August 5, 1914. The second is the German Cross of Merit with swords, instituted by Adolf Hitler on October 18, 1939, during World War II. In the middle of the cross there is a circle framed by a wreath of oak leaves, in which a swastika is depicted on the front side, and the year 1939 on the back.
