An antique late 19th to early 20th-century Austrian cold-painted cast bronze table lamp with modern light fittings. The lamp represens a beggar boy with a monkey in oriental architectural setting. Presumably a production of Franz Xavier Bergman, 1861 to 1936, the owner of a Viennese foundry that produced numerous patinated and cold-painted bronzes.
