At its core, it features the crowned St. Andrews Cross, flanked by the golden imperial monograms of Peter the Great and Nicholas II. The badge incorporates a four-pointed cross, its black enamel surface adding a striking contrast. The widened and concave ends are framed with a gold rim. Two crossed swords in the center draw inspiration from the Caucasian Cross. The Latin numeral CC at the heart of the badge commemorates the regiments bicentennial anniversary, while the left end bears the date 21V, and the right end displays the regiments seniority date of 1701.
