At its heart, it features the iconic double headed eagle, a symbol of the Russian Empire, beneath three majestic Imperial crowns with ribbons gracefully cascading from them. The eagles breast is adorned with a small shield covered in red enamel, prominently displaying the order of St. George. In the eagles mighty talons, it holds two crossed cannons, one gilt and one silver. The eagles wings bear the monograms of both Paul I and Nicholas II beneath Imperial crowns.
