An antique set of Chinese cloisonne enamel pieces, circa 1920. The lot includes a lidded cylindrical cigarette box and a matchbox holder made of copper and decorated in the same style with polychrome enamel patterns on a green ground and the second matchbox holder decorated with scrolled foliage surrounding the palmette created in raised cloisonne enamel technique. The top of the matchbox holders is open to allow insertion of a wooden matchbox, and the bottom and sides have rounded openings for striking a match.
