A pair of Japanese enamel over brass vases. The vase has an amphora shaped body and a fluted neck. The ware is enameled with a polychrome image of a dragon surrounded by a swirl motif made in the Cloisonne technique. The neck and the base are adorned with scaly and geometrical ornaments made in the same technique. The ground of the vases are inlaid with Goldstone. Unmarked.
