A pair of German Scheibe Alsbach polychrome painted porcelain figurines, Dumouriez and Lepic. The figurines are adorned with gilt accents and depicting French military leaders standing atop grassy terrain bases. Each is titled on the front of the base. Inscribed with the years of life, on the backside. Each is marked with a traditional blue ink hallmark, an impressed script, and numbered 12753, under the base. Circa: Mid to the late 20th Century. Charles Francois du Perier Dumouriez, 1739 to 1823, was a French military officer, minister of Foreign Affairs, minister of War in a Girondin cabinet and army general during the French Revolutionary War. Joseph Louis Lepic, 1765 to 1827, was a French military leader, divisional general, whose career was closely connected with the Napoleonic guards cavalry.
