Crayon and pastel on paper painting by Tatyana Glebova, 1900 to 1985, a Russian and Soviet artist, wife of Vladimir Sterligov, a Soviet avant garde artist and student of Kazimir Malevich. The artwork is an abstract composition with a face. Signed by the artist and dated 1978 in the lower right. Beige mat, golden frame. In 1926 Glebova met Pavel Filonov and became his student. She also joined the group of artists called Masters of Analytic Art. This artwork shows the direct influence of Filonov and his circle.
