An antique 19th-century Egyptian silver bowl richly decorated with chasing and engraving. Arabic calligraphy encompasses the piece close to the rim, underneath is a row of medallions with calligraphy, birds, and pyramids. The bottom depicts Geb with a bird. Cairo town and .900 silver standard hallmark is on the rim. Weight: 114 grams. Geb is the Egyptian Earth god that guards the Pharaoh.
