Mounted on a rectangular shaped base. Signed with casting, A. Bardery, on the base. Numbered, 9786, on the bottom. Louis Armand Bardery was a French sculptor. He was born in 1879 in Neuilly sur Marne. After training with Injalbert and Charles Vital Cornu, Bardery obtained an honorable mention for a plaster statue entitled Premiere disillusion and presented in 1905 at the Paris Salon. Bardery was an assiduous member of the Salon Des Artistes Francais.
