Contemporary sculpture of a human head. Signed at bottom and attributed to Shiro Sato Ceramic Studio, an artist based in Kyoto active in the decades of 1960s to 1980s. Small size, glazed stoneware figurine in a raw brutalist style. The artist had a series of works inspired by visits and years of study abroad in Europe, mostly in Rome.
