An antique French cast bronze sculpture of Moses after the original marble sculpture 1513 to 1515 by Michelangelo, representing the seated biblical figure with horns and with the stone tablets holding the Commandments, and raised on a square plinth. The original sculpture is commissioned by Pope Julius II for his tomb, now located in the church San Pietro in Vincoli in Rome. This sculpture is probably manufactured by F. Barbedienne Foundry.
