After Cristofano dell Altissimo, Italian, 1525 to 1605, an oil painting on a wood panel after the original painting of Brunetto Latini depicting a male portrait from the Collection of Paolo Giovio known as the Giovio Series. The original was completed in 1589 and resides today in the collection of the Uffizi. In 1761 the portrait was copied by Giuliano Trabellesi and engraved by Giuseppe Allegrini for publication in Serie di ritratti doumini illutri toscani, published in Firenze.
