A set of antique English sterling silver and silver-plated cutlery. A total of items including 12 dessert forks, 12 dessert knives, 6 nutcrackers, two pairs of scissors, a table fork and table knife. The tips of the richly decorated handles are engraved with initials and leopards. The knife blades are covered with engraved floral ornaments. British lozenge mark on the handles: I class, January 8, 1845, parcel 2. Sterling marks on the handles: Birmingham assay mark, lion passant guardant, souvereign head, letter W for the year 1845, JG for John Gilbert and Co. Silverplate marks on the knife blades: JM, arrow, G, PS for plated silver. Total Weight for all pieces: 2217 grams. The set comes in original wooden box. Collectible Victorian Era English Silverware, Flatware And Cutlery.

Overall good antique condition. Signs of wear and Age. Refer to photos. Sold as is.
