An antique ca. 1910s hand-painted porcelain character jug by Wedgwood, one of the oldest English porcelain manufacturers. The piece represents Henry VIII, king of England from 1509 to 1547. Gilt accents. Unicorn hallmark Wedgwood and Co. Ltd., England is on the bottom. Toby jugs are an English ceramic ware that was developed by the Staffordshire potters in the 1760s.
