Utagawa Ando Hiroshige, Japanese, 1797 to 1858, pair of woodblock prints on paper, Peach and Swallows in Moonlight. The first is signed and inscribed in Hieroglyphs and red ink stamp upper and lower left. The second: signed and inscribed in Hieroglyphs and red ink stamp upper left and lower right. Both are framed. Utagawa Hiroshige, born Andō Tokutaro, was a Japanese ukiyo e artist, considered the last great master of that tradition. Hiroshige is best known for his horizontal format landscape series The Fifty three Stations of the Tōkaidō and for his vertical format landscape series One Hundred Famous Views of Edo.
