Xiao Ping, Chinese, born 1942, watercolor painting on paper depicting a Marine scene with ships. Signed, probably dated 2012, and red stamp lower left. Framed. Xiao Ping, a native of Yangzhou, graduated from the Jiangsu Academy of Traditional Chinese Painting in 1962. He then travelled with his teacher Ya Ming 1924 to 1999 to Mount Tai and Mount Huang gaining inspiration from the nature. Xiao is now the senior artist at the Jiangsu Provincial Chinese Painting Gallery and connoisseur advisor at the Jiangsu Provincial Art Museum. One of a kind artwork.
