Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR 1932, Honored Art Worker of the RSFSR 1955. Viktor Sergeevich Bibikov acted as a landscape painter in his work, able to convey in his engravings the new image of the Soviet Motherland with simple, realistic means with great poetic feeling. His realistic skill reached considerable maturity during the Great Patriotic War and in the subsequent period. Artworks by V.S. Bibikov are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, the Gorky Art Museum and private collections in Russia and abroad. One of a kind artwork.
