A Russian 88 gilt Silver letter and page opener knife. The blade of the knife is made of hand carved Nephrite Jade. The ricasso is adorned with a relief foliage pattern. The handle of the knife is covered with a cobalt blue Guilloche enamel and adorned with a relief image of an Imperial double headed eagle, encrusted with a Ruby stone to the center. A figural head of a horse, engraved with detailed patterns, is on the top. Marked with a standard Silver hallmark and other Cyrillic and Assay marks. Presented in a wooden box.
