An antique Roman Baroque Catholic Church ecclesiastical chasuble, probably used for Easter. Cream and gold silk damask with gold braid trim, adorned with a floral pattern. Circa: 1700s. The chasuble is the outermost liturgical vestment worn by clergy for the celebration of the Eucharist in Western tradition Christian churches that use full vestments, primarily in Roman Catholic, Anglican, and Lutheran churches.
