A Russian 88 gilt silver and enamel Easter egg case. The egg consists of two fastened halves. A gilt wash interior. The exterior of the case is covered with an enamel in blue, green, red, orange and white shades floral and geometrical patterns made in the Cloisonne technique. The egg is encrusted with Amethyst stones on the top and on the bottom. Marked with a Silver standard hallmark, and other Cyrillic and Assay marks. Total Weight 131 grams.
