An antique iron buffalo hide scale featuring a crescent or half moon shaped unpolished brass dial with weight measurements. It has a hand forged, twisted split tip pointer that will allow for both sides of the dial to be read simultaneously. Manufactured in Germany by Henry Boker, circa the early 19th century.
