A fine pair of antique Chinese vases dated from the late 19th to early 20th century. The vases are cast brass, decorated with traditional polychrome floral designs hand enameled over lustrous brass in the cloisonne enamel technique. One vase depicts blue palmettes on white ground and the other vase depicts a butterfly hovering over a blossoming plum branch on black ground. No visible marks.
