Circa: the first half of 20th century. Emile Coriolan Hippolyte Guillemin was a French sculptor of the Belle Epoque. He worked in bronze. He studied under his father, the painter Auguste Guillemin, and under Jean Jules Salmson. Following his father, Emile specialized in bronze animalistic sculpture, especially horse and bird sculpture.
