A Mid century Italian Milano Piero Fornasetti print decorated porcelain plate. The plate is lithographically printed with variant schools of swimming fish, Passage of Fish, 1955. The plate is marked with black and green stampes, the company mark and design number, on the back. Piero Fornasetti, 1913 to 1988, was an Italian artist and designer. The work of Piero Fornasetti is a mixture of illusionism and architectural perspectives. His favorite themes are the sun, playing cards, fish, butterflies, books, architecture, and the face of a girl named Lina Cavalieri. Piero Fornasetti developed an eclectic style based on the Novecento style, created on the basis of neoclassicism. Vintage and Modern Porcelain Cabinet Plates, Wall and Home Decor, and Collectibles.
